WHAT IS OUR RESPONSIBILITY REGARDING YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

As GUITAR, we have the responsibility, as the "data controller" in accordance with the imperative provisions of the Law, for the security of all your personal data that you have provided to us during your membership creation and the purchase of our products through our site with the domain name guitarjeans.com (“SITE”).

FROM WHICH SOURCES IS YOUR PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED AND FOR WHICH PURPOSES IS IT PROCESSED?

Your personal data is primarily processed for the purpose of fulfilling the obligations imposed on us by the provisions of the legislation, especially the Turkish Commercial Code No. 6102 and the Tax Procedure Law No. 213.

IDENTITY NUMBER	Processed because data processing is necessary for the performance of the contract, for the execution of the relevant membership agreement and the services dependent on the membership agreement, even if you have not purchased goods or services from us, but have become a member of our website. (Law No. 6698 Art. 5/2-c)
ADDRESS	Processed due to being mandatory in accordance with Article 230 et seq. of the Tax Procedure Law No. 213 and Article 82 of the Turkish Commercial Code No. 6102 in case of purchasing goods or services from us. (Law No. 6698 Art. 5/2-a)
E-MAIL ADDRESS	Processed because the processing of personal data belonging to the parties of the contract is necessary for the execution of the contract, for providing necessary information regarding the purchased goods and services, and establishing communication between the parties in case of receiving service from us. PHONE NUMBER	Processed because data processing is necessary for the performance of the contract, for the execution of the relevant membership agreement and the services dependent on the membership agreement, even if you have not received service from us, but have become a member of our websites or loyalty card system. TRANSACTION HISTORY	Processed for the purpose of tracking the orders you placed, ensuring the smooth execution of the return procedure for purchased products when necessary, and suggesting products suitable for previously purchased products. (Law No. 6698 Art. 5/2-f)
TRANSACTION SECURITY INFORMATION	IP address information when you visit the Site, your password created by you during membership creation, and your cookie information are processed to provide the highest quality service and to perform the service in the transactions you will make through the Site. (Law No. 6698 Art. 5/2-f)

WITH WHOM IS YOUR PERSONAL DATA SHARED?

Your personal data listed above may be shared with banks and third parties who carry out technical, logistics, and other similar transactions on our behalf, when necessary due to business needs and to the extent required by the business. These persons are the necessary persons for the limited and essential sharing of data.

As GUITAR, your personal data may be shared with authorized judicial and administrative authorities if they request the sharing of your data in order to fulfill our legal obligations.

To request the correction of your personal data if it is incomplete or incorrectly processed and to request the notification of the transaction made within this scope to third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred,
To request the deletion or destruction of your personal data if the reasons requiring its processing disappear despite being processed in accordance with the Law and other relevant legal provisions, and to request the notification of the transaction made within this scope to third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred,
To object to the occurrence of a result against you by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automatic systems,
To request the compensation of the damage in case you suffer damage due to the unlawful processing of your personal data.

You can send your applications regarding your rights listed above; with a wet signature, via registered mail with return receipt to our postal address, via e-mail to [email protected] using your e-mail address registered in our systems, or through other application procedures specified in the relevant legislation, to our company. Your applications will be concluded free of charge as soon as possible and within thirty days at the latest, depending on the nature of your request; however, if the transaction requires an additional cost, a fee may be requested from you according to the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board.
